Pennsylvania has been recognized as the fourth "oldest" state in the nation, and is home to more than 2.7 million individuals 60 years and older. With more than 300,000 of this population 80 years and older, many of these individuals need assistance while living at home.1 Furthermore, according to statistics, approximately 3% of Pennsylvania residents are disabled and experience difficulty performing activities of daily living such as: bathing, dressing and fixing meals.2 My Independence at HOME is committed to providing compassionate and professional home care for these individuals.
